Inner City Gruel

Inner City Gruel possesses a more traditional, guitar-based rock style with a colorful collection of original compositions. Featured on our album cover is the artwork of Todd Hinchman from Portland, Oregon. His painting titled Inner City Gruel perfectly represented the twisting nature of this particular album and supplied us with an equally thoughtful album title. Inner City Gruel contains the song Absolute Being, which was featured in the short film we worked on in June called Love Me, Loved Me Not.

The Heavy Escape

Released in January, 2010, The Heavy Escape is a major shift in sound for E2E. We’ve put aside our acoustic guitars for a bit and instead focused on creating songs with a heavier synthesizer and electronic beat influence.  The songs have a deeper and more methodical sound with melodies interwoven throughout each tune. We tried to create a record that had something original to offer in this genre and we hope you enjoy all of the hard work we put into this album.

The Light Unseen

The Light Unseen reflects a significant change in recording methods as the band combined percussion and hand drums with a full drum set.  There was also a greater emphasis placed on synthesizer and piano parts within many of the compositions.  The final product moves through a variety of musical genres, while displaying a personal style the band had been developing for years.
